Greetings from Austin, Texas! I know it’s been a little while since an update, but I’ve been busy expanding my musical knowledge in graduate school. Since packing all of my guitars up and moving to Texas in January a lot has transpired. I’ve seen some great music, eaten some life-changing BBQ, met some wonderful people and adopted a domestic terrorist in the form of a 13 pound Chihuahua mix. Now that the semester is winding down, I’ll have some more time to play around town and dive headfirst into the “Live Music Capital of the World”.
I’m playing a couple songs this Wednesday for the Kerrville Folk Festival Singer/Songwriter Contest at Cactus Cafe. There are 8 finalists and I’m honored to be included in this pool of talent. I am also playing a solo show at Red Eyed Fly on May 19 at 10 pm. Doors are at 8 pm and it’s a FREE show. You can RSVP here.
